Film

BIB Bags have four layers and are made of internal and external film.

-The internal layer is composed of transparent LDPE film.

-The external layer may be composed of two types of film:

  1. EVOH/PE film (ang. Ethylene vinyle alcohol) being a modern copolymer of the vinyl alcohol and ethylene with a high barrier capacity as regards gases and steam. EVOH film is transparent and dedicated for such products as: juice, water, milk and dairy products, cooking oil.
  2. Metallised film is LDPE film laminate with a layer of aluminium between. This film is also characterised by high barrier function. It is recommended for light-sensitive products, such as wine, water, juice, paste.

Raw materials used in the production of bag-in-box bags originate from reliable and certified manufacturers.

There are also aseptic solutions on offer. The condition for sterile bag-in-box bags is radiation sterilisation.
