These models require interface group configuration to enable different speed products -7. The switch is built on a fully distributed Gen7 ASIC architecture and managed via HPE Aruba Networking Central, Switch Multi-Edit Software, or CLI.

Like other CX 6300M models, the R8S90A supports VSF stacking for up to 10 switches, providing simplified management and high availability. The switch includes advanced features such as BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, VRF, OSPF routing, and Precision Time Protocol (PTP).
