Aqueous Additive Dispersant For Water Based Ink Systems

Dispersant DR-193 is an aqueous additive for water-based ink systems, offering excellent performance and general-purpose functionality for water-based inks.

Composition

35% active substance in water and a small amount of propylene glycol, high molecular weight polymer with pigment affinity group.

Application

Recommended levels:

  • Inorganic pigments: 3-8%
  • Organic pigments: 20-50%
  • Carbon black: 30-60%

The recommended dosage is based on the percentage of pigment weight.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

Special Features and Benefits

DR-193 is a polymer dispersant with excellent performance and general-purpose functionality for water-based inks. It shows excellent viscosity reduction performance for various organic pigments and carbon black. It is mainly recommended for systems using grinding resin, and offers excellent color rendering and pigment stability. It contains no solvent and poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl).

Packaging and Storage

Net weight: 25kg and 200kg plastic-lined iron drums, net weight 1000kg IBC.

DR-193 should be stored at a dry and cool place. The shelf life is 2 years from production date.
