Reflective bubble insulation for windows fireproofing and heat insulation Double bubble insulation 2mm 3mm
Double-layer bubble insulation material is a highly efficient composite thermal insulation material. It uses the dual principles of air layer insulation and reflective insulation, and is widely used in construction, industry, agriculture and other fields to reduce heat transfer and improve energy efficiency.
Core structure and composition
This material usually consists of three basic structures to form a "sandwich" composite layer:
Outer layer (two sides): high reflective aluminum foil layer
Material: Polyethylene or polyester film coated with high-purity aluminum foil.
Function: Reflect most of the radiant heat, with a reflectivity of up to 95%-97%, reflecting external heat or internal heat back. Provide waterproof, moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant and certain mechanical strength.
Middle layer: double-layer bubble)
Structure: Two independent layers of polyethylene bubble film, each containing a large number of closed independent air bubbles.
Function: Air is an excellent insulator, and the still air in the bubble effectively blocks heat conduction. The double-layer bubble stacking significantly increases the overall thickness and enhances the insulation and pressure resistance.
Some products will use XPE cross-linked polyethylene foam or glass fiber cotton to replace the bubble layer to enhance thermal insulation or fire resistance.
Core insulation principle
Reflection and insulation of radiant heat. The aluminum foil layer reflects >95% of infrared rays and blocks thermal radiation.
The air layer blocks conductive heat. The thermal conductivity of static air in the bubble is extremely low, which greatly slows down heat penetration.
Slow down convection heat dissipation. The closed bubble structure inhibits air flow and reduces heat convection.
Main application scenarios
Construction field
Roof/wall insulation: laid on the inside of the color steel plate, concrete roof, or the inside of the exterior wall insulation layer.
Floor heating reflective layer: laid under the floor heating pipe, reflecting heat upward.
Sun room/garage: attached to the inside of the glass or roof to reflect solar radiation.
Industrial field
Pipeline insulation: wrap hot water pipes and air conditioning refrigerant pipes to reduce heat loss/condensation.
Equipment insulation: cover storage tanks, boilers, cold chain transport carriages, etc.
Agriculture and Home
Greenhouse: outer covering, insulation during the day and heat preservation at night.
