Product Description
Ni80Cr20 is a nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) characterized by high resistivity, excellent oxidation resistance, and superior form stability. Suitable for continuous use at temperatures up to 1200°C, it offers longer service life compared to iron-chromium-aluminum alloys.
Typical Applications
- Electric heating elements in home appliances and industrial furnaces
- Resistors (wirewound resistors, metal film resistors)
- Flat irons and ironing machines
- Water heaters and soldering irons
- Plastic moulding dies
- Metal sheathed tubular elements and cartridge elements
