Description

Fast-Response Remote Laser Methane Leak Detector


The AiLF Instruments L20P and L20 are handheld remote methane leak detectors designed for fast, non-contact inspection of natural gas pipelines and industrial facilities. Using TDLAS laser absorption technology, they detect methane concentrations from a distance without requiring direct contact with the suspected leak source.

The L20P provides a maximum detection distance of 200 m, while the L20 offers a detection distance of up to 150 m. With a measurement range of 0–100,000 ppm·m and a stated response time as fast as 0.05 seconds, the detectors support efficient screening of hard-to-reach locations.
