Product Properties

Molykote® D-10 is a heat-cured anti-friction coating composed of solid lubricant (graphite), organic binders, and solvents. Its black, viscous liquid form is suitable for screen printing, curing into a dry-film lubricant layer with an operating temperature range of ​​-70°C to 380°C​​. The density is ​​1.3 g/ml​​ (20°C), and flash point is ​​63°C​​ (ISO 1523), meeting industrial requirements for high load capacity and corrosion resistance.

Its low friction coefficient (start-up μ=0.1, running μ=0.08) minimizes wear while resisting corrosion from motor oils, gasoline, diesel, and solvents. Curing requires ​​30 minutes at 180°C​​ (metal substrates), with coverage of ​​8 m²/kg​​, delivering long-term protection against cold-start wear and stick-slip phenomena via an ultra-thin layer.
