T-248 POLYMETHACRYLATE/PMA PPD

DESCRIPTION

This product PMA Pour Point Depressant adopts advanced reaction technology and process, with higher fatty alcohol as the starting raw material. It is designed to match the performance of Rohmax VISCOPLEX 1-248 at a lower cost, with dual effects of lowering pour point and increasing viscosity index.

T-248 is highly compatible with paraffinic base oil and intermediate base oil, as well as hydrogenated base oil. Suitable for blending aircraft hydraulic oil, hydraulic transmission oil, gear oil, transformer oil, low-freezing hydraulic oil, hydraulic oil for numerical control machines, special hydraulic oil, or internal combustion machine oil.

CHARACTERISTIC

Treated with High Pressure Homogenizer, T-248 has excellent thermal and shear stability. Excellent pour point depressing effect with 0.3%-0.5% dose. Excellent fluidity and solubility under low temperature. Low acidity and excellent anti-oxidation performance to lengthen the lifespan of lubricating oil. Physical and chemical indicators meet enterprise standard.

REFERENCE DOSAGE

The reference dosage in oil products should be from 0.3%-0.5%

SPECIFICATIONS

Note: When 0.5 % of this product is added to HVI150 base oil (pour point: ‑14±1 ℃), the reduction in pour‑point value is defined as the pour‑point depressant efficiency.

STORAGE

This product shall be stored, loaded & unloaded and blended according to SH/T0164. The high temperature shall not exceed 60°C, and not exceed 45°C for long term storage. It is nonflammable, non-explosive and in-corrosive, and it is same as the common petroleum products in the aspects of security, environmental protection and use etc. Special protection is not needed. Best Blending temperature 50°C-60°C.
