Flap discs are made by cutting large rolls of abrasive cloth into small pieces and arranging them fan-shaped on the fiberglass backing pad. Normally, the abrasive cloth side is used for grinding workpieces, boasting high strength, excellent heat dissipation, strong air circulation and anti-clogging performance. They are widely applied in welding grinding and polishing, auto maintenance, stone processing and construction industries.

The full-edge wrapped flap disc is specially designed for the hard-to-clean weld seams left at right-angle welds—those tight between two surfaces. Developed for aesthetic finishing needs, it uses the edge of the flap disc to grind and polish weld seams for a smooth, neat and attractive finish.

This zirconia alumina flap disc is made with high-quality zirconia alumina abrasive, delivering outstanding efficiency on metal workpieces. It comes in various grit sizes to meet both heavy stock removal and fine finishing requirements. The fiberglass backing offers excellent flexibility, elasticity and air circulation. For added demands, rigid plastic backing pads are also available as an option.
