Description:

The DS200DACAG1A is a Mark V, TC2000, DC2000 AC to DC Converter Board manufactured by GE (General Electric) as part of their turbine control systems. The DS200DACAG1A is designed as a component for the GE EX2100 Excitation Control Module.

This module provides field excitation current for generators (gas/steam/hydro) as a way to control their AC terminal voltage and reactive volt-amperes.

The DACA module transforms ac input power from 115/230 V to 125 Vic output power. When a control system's main power source is 125V dc, with or without a battery, DACA is utilized.

When the Mark VIe Control completely loses control power, DACA offers additional local energy storage in addition to power conversion to prolong the ride-through time.

The DS200CTBDG1A is used as a termination board in a MarV system. The board is typically installed in the C core of the system, in a general purpose data processor.

The board communicates with other points and boards in the larger system using a communication link over IONet (Ethernet) via an RS-2329 pin d-shel wired connection and an IONet Ethernet pin connector.
