439 Stainless Steel Tube for Exhaust Systems
439 stainless steel is an enhanced ferritic material based on the standard 430 grade, with reduced carbon content and the addition of stabilizing elements like titanium. This formulation provides improved intergranular corrosion resistance, enhanced formability, and superior weldability. While its elongation is approximately 30% (lower than 304 grade), 439 stainless steel offers comparable strength and corrosion resistance, with performance characteristics that exceed those of 200 series materials.
